Wasserburg seems to be cut off from civilization because of the position of the island and the topographical seperation from the Inn and the steep slope. You behold the scenery, as if it was a fairy tale, as soon as you arrive. A city with pastel-coloured walls, with bays and battlements, with a gateway and a mighty castle. Who had never imagined an old city like this, as a child in their fanstasy? Wasserburg am Inn - The almost fully intact middle-age old city is a first class place to see, as a whole. Almost every building in the city has a long, mostly century-old history.
